Short boxy work blouson in a beautiful lightwash denim harkens back to 1960s french mechanics jackets with zippered chest pockets and a fly front. Here, Hussein Chalayan modernizes the archetypical form, with chest pocket corners rounded and a set of welted waist pockets added for daily wear, their form halfway traced with a double stitch that secures the pocket bag to jacket face. The jacket feels grounded in history yet contemporary. Ultimately, it's just a well-designed, well-cut denim jacket that's easy to throw on and go.

Finished with Lampo zippers throughout, shank closure at cuffs and waist adjusters.

8/10 Condition, with no rips or tears. Some light spots at the wearer's left chest pocket that is mostly unnoticeable. Patina from wear throughout.
